Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) Testing Center

The Institute of Technical Trades Toronto is a Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) test center in Toronto to test and certify welders.

Testing is available at the Institute of Technical Trades' Toronto welding facilities, Monday to Friday, with advanced booking, in the following processes:

• Electric Arc Mild Steel Welding (SMAW) - plate or pipe (2", 4" or 6")
• Electric Arc Stainless Welding (SMAW) - plate or pipe (2", 4" or 6")
• Electric Arc Aluminum Welding (SMAW) - plate
• MIG Mild Steel Welding (GMAW) - plate
• MIG Aluminum (GMAW) - plate
• TIG Mild Steel Welding (GTAW) - plate or pipe (2", 4" or 6")
• TIG Stainless Welding (GTAW) - plate or pipe (2", 4" or 6")
• TIG Aluminum Welding (GTAW) - plate
